With our Never Settle campaign, the University of Arizona is rededicating itself to community partnerships in order to increase access to higher education by individuals in Arizona and beyond. UA and the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) have a long tradition of working together to meet students’ needs and to create an easy transition for students on various degree pathways. MCCCD is comprised of ten colleges, and multiple skill centers and education centers, making it one of the largest providers of higher education in the United States. Each community college within this system is an accredited institution aimed at meeting the needs of citizens of Maricopa County for a superior education and career opportunities.
To build upon that core partnership and to meet the broader needs of students’ goals, the University of Arizona teamed up with MCCCD to establish UA North Valley as an exciting option in higher learning in the Phoenix area. UA North Valley provides new possibilities and greater flexibility for students in Maricopa County seeking a degree from the University of Arizona and creates a seamless transition to advanced undergraduate coursework. Our special partner in this venture is Paradise Valley Community College, where our branch campus is located. Whether you are a student at PVCC or another of the Maricopa Community Colleges, or returning to your studies after an absence, UA North Valley is an option for you!
